Osaka Bay is a closed inner bay embraced by Awaji Island, and its nutrient-rich seawater mixed with complex currents has made it one of Japan's most abundant fishing grounds.
Fishing styles and their charm
An excellent fishing spot: The bay entrance (Akashi Strait and Kii-Tatsuta Strait) is known as a "first-class spot" where large fish like sauries and amberjack gather due to the swift tidal currents.
Diverse targets:
Spring: mackerel and Spanish mackerel.
Summer: Saithe, mackerel, and octopus fishing are also popular.
Autumn: The migration of mackerel and sashimi fish begins, and the fishing season reaches its peak.
Winter: Enjoy fatty winter flounder and bottom fish (such as sea bass).

Convenient access: There are plenty of spots where even families and beginners can enjoy themselves with ease, such as fishing grounds with parking like the Yumemai Bridge and the Fukushio Port with fully equipped restrooms.

The ultimate experience for you
Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city, it's a luxury to aim for big catches while feeling the sea breeze. Sea fishing in Osaka Bay delivers unforgettable excitement for both beginners and veterans.
