Tour Details
Lake Motosu is the deepest of the Fuji Five Lakes, with an altitude of 900 meters and a maximum depth of 138 meters; it never freezes in winter. However, what truly made this area famous worldwide is the annual "Fuji Shibazakura Festival" held every spring.
Established in 2008, this event takes place from mid-April to late May at the Fuji Motosuko Resort. Across a 2.4-hectare site, approximately 500,000 to 800,000 moss phlox (Shibazakura) in pink, white, and purple create a floral carpet at the foot of Mt. Fuji. This stunning scenery was selected by CNN as one of "Japan’s 34 Most Beautiful Places."
Entrance Fees (Pay on-site):
Mid to late April / Mid to late May: Adults ¥1,000 / Children ¥500
Late April to early May: Adults ¥1,300 / Children ¥700
(Approx. 80 minutes of free time, including lunch)
※ Mar 28 – Apr 12 (Cherry Blossom Season): The itinerary will be adjusted to the "Lake Kawaguchi North Shore Cherry Blossom Trail" (Main venue of the Fuji-Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival).
Located on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Oishi Park is a premier spot to enjoy the lake, floral displays, and the mountain all at once. From lavender and cosmos in spring and summer to vibrant autumn leaves and snow-capped winter views, the park offers beauty year-round. While compact, the park features a concentrated array of scenery with a lakeside boardwalk, making it a perfect spot for photography and a relaxing stroll.
This Lawson convenience store is famous for its stunning alignment with Mt. Fuji. For the best shot, we recommend staying on the same side of the road as your subject. A medium-close-up shot with a "cool blue" filter creates a dreamy, cinematic atmosphere that stands out on social media.
Hikawa Clock Shop (Ladder to Mt. Fuji)
A rising Instagram sensation, this spot features a straight, nostalgic street that looks like a "ladder" leading directly to the peak of Mt. Fuji.
Note: This is an active public intersection. Please prioritize safety and follow all instructions from local staff.
"Oshino Hakkai" refers to eight crystal-clear springs fed by Mt. Fuji's snowmelt, naturally filtered through layers of volcanic rock.
Renowned for its stunning natural environment, the shimmering ponds perfectly complement the backdrop of Mt. Fuji, making it a world-class photography spot.
It is officially designated as a National Natural Monument of Japan.
