Furano & Biei Summer Flower Fields and Countryside Day Tour

Depart from Sapporo for a beautiful summer journey through Furano and Biei in Hokkaido. Visit the famous Farm Tomita and enjoy breathtaking lavender fields, seasonal flowers, and signature lavender ice cream. Continue with a scenic drive along the iconic “Roller Coaster Road,” known for its dramatic hills and panoramic countryside views. In Biei, visit Chiyoda Farm where families can enjoy interactive experiences such as feeding baby calves and pony riding for children, together with lunch time. Tour Details

7:30-8:00 Departure from Sapporo
Meeting point: Pickup at hotel lobbies within 3 km of Sapporo Station; other guests meet at 07:45 at the group waiting area at Sapporo Station East Exit.
This day tour is a shared vehicle itinerary. All guests are required to arrive on time; no waiting for latecomers. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure.
The pickup order and time will be arranged by the driver/guide based on distance and conditions. Please understand, cooperate, and follow the unified instructions of the driver/guide.
10:30 Farm Tomita (approx. 60-minute visit)
Farm Tomita in Furano is Hokkaido’s most famous lavender field, where vast purple blooms fill the landscape from June to August, creating a dreamy floral tapestry alongside vibrant seasonal flowers. Visitors can stroll through breathtaking fields, enjoy signature lavender ice cream, and shop for lavender-themed products — it’s a must-visit romantic destination for any summer trip to Hokkaido.

12:00 Roller Coaster Road (Drive-by viewing)
“Roller Coaster Road” near Furano, Hokkaido, is a country road famous for its steep slopes and dramatic ups and downs — just like a real roller coaster. With sweeping views of fields, hills, and open skies, it’s a popular spot for scenic drives and photography. Visit on a clear day for stunning, postcard-perfect scenery.
12:30 Chiyoda Farm (approx. 90-minute visit) Inclusive lunch time
Chiyoda Farm in Biei, Hokkaido, is a perfect summer destination for families. Surrounded by vast pastoral scenery, the farm offers a variety of fun hands-on activities: horseback riding, feeding baby calves, and trying your hand at milking cows. It’s a chance for families to interact with adorable animals and enjoy the warmth of nature. A visit here promises both relaxation and unforgettable memories for children and adults alike.

14:10 Shikisai-no-Oka (approx. 80-minute visit, admission ticket included)
Shikisai-no-Oka, located in Biei, Hokkaido, is a breathtaking hill garden that showcases stunning seasonal flowers throughout the year. In summer, vibrant flower fields stretch like a colorful carpet, while in winter, the area transforms into a snowy wonderland with snowmobile and sled activities. With its panoramic views and fun experiences like tractor rides, it’s a must-visit for families and couples exploring Hokkaido.
15:30 Return trip to Sapporo
approx. 2.5-hour return
Arrival in Sapporo around 18:00. Tour ends at Sapporo Station or drop-off service to hotels in Sapporo city area is available.

As this is a day tour, bringing luggage is not recommended.

Important Notes

I. Reservation and Participation


• Schedule changes are not allowed after the reservation is confirmed. Any losses incurred due to changes shall be borne by the customer.

• Please provide accurate full name and contact information, and complete payment within the specified deadline.

• Please manage your valuables personally. We are not responsible for any loss or damage.

• Late arrival after departure, no-show without prior notice, or leaving the group midway will be considered a voluntary forfeiture, and no refund will be provided.


II. Participation Requirements


• Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.

• Participants aged 70 or above are advised to assess their health condition and are recommended to be accompanied by a family member or friend aged 20 or above.

• Pregnant individuals, persons with heart conditions, hypertension, acrophobia, or other chronic illnesses are advised to refrain from participating in high-risk activities (e.g., skiing, water sports, etc.).

• The tour will be conducted in Chinese and Japanese. If other languages are required, please inquire in advance.

• If there are any changes in health condition after application, please notify us promptly.


III. Itinerary and Safety


• This is a group tour with shared transportation. Please follow the instructions of the guide/driver and strictly adhere to meeting times. No refund will be provided for any part of the itinerary missed due to lateness.

• The order of visits may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, events, etc., but no attractions will be omitted.

• Outdoor activities involve certain risks. Please participate according to your physical condition and follow on-site safety instructions.

• Safety and conduct during free time are the sole responsibility of the customer.

V. Other Important Notes


• Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended.

• Meal contents vary by product. Please inform us in advance of any allergies or religious dietary restrictions.

• Shopping decisions are at your discretion. Be sure to obtain receipts.

• Please maintain contactable status during the tour.

• Respect local laws, customs, and culture, and observe public etiquette.


VI. Insurance and Liability


• We strongly recommend that customers purchase travel accident insurance independently.

• Upon request, we can introduce partner insurance companies.

• We are only liable for damages caused by our own negligence. Damages resulting from natural disasters or other force majeure events are not covered.
