Osaka / Kyoto: Bloom late March | Best viewing early April  

Tokyo / Nagoya: Bloom mid–late March | Full bloom around late March  

Sendai: Bloom early April | Full bloom mid-April  

Aomori: Bloom mid–late April  

Sapporo: Bloom late April | Full bloom around early May
